The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands: Festive 2022

One table, laid nine times.

Hästens. Sound on, if you like.

Nine houses that share a floor, given one Christmas.

Three years after the Fall/Winter rooms, the same mall came back with its home-and-table tenants: crystal, silver, linen, beds, wine, stationery, pewter, silk and glassware. Nine brands that sit near each other and sell nothing alike.

So they were given one set rather than nine. Navy and gold throughout, pine sprigs and red berries at every edge, surfaces quilted and padded like a table dressed for a dinner nobody has sat down to yet. Each house keeps its own object and its own material; the room they stand in is shared.

Vertical, and genuinely looping

All nine are 1080 x 1920 for the mall's portrait screens, and all nine are true loops: the first and last frames of every master are all but identical. They run whole here, sixteen to thirty-two seconds, rather than cut to a common length. Trimming a loop anywhere except its own period is what makes one visibly jump.

Sound is off until you ask for it. The red bear in sunglasses carries over from the 2019 rooms, where he was teal.
