Biotech animation, cell by cell.

The card poster.

Nothing here is a photograph of anything, so the material has to do the persuading.

The molecule is assembled rather than sculpted: individual beads in three yellows and a white, chrome spheres scattered through them, and helix ribbons threaded around the outside. Built from parts, it reads as a structure with rules rather than a blob.

The name is treated as an object too (cut in chrome, broken into voxels, set in the same yellow), so the typography and the molecule belong to one piece instead of a caption sitting over a render.

The shots

Three frames: the name in voxels, the molecule on its ridged ground, and the chrome lettering dissolving.

The word REXOSOME in chunky three-dimensional letters on a yellow ground.01
The bead and helix molecule centred on concentric white ridges with the name above it.02
Chrome letters breaking apart into small cubes over a rippled white surface.03

The science

The technology the piece visualises is set out on Beekman 1802's own science page.
