Maybelline: Teddy Tint

A plush bear the size of a bridge tower.

From the delivered film.

Fur is the whole problem: it has to read as plush at the scale of a building.

A plush surface reads instantly when it is small and turns to noise when it is large. At the scale of a bridge tower the pile has to stay legible against a real sky without flattening into carpet.

The bear and the oversized product sit in city plates, which means the lighting is not a choice. It is whatever the day was, and the build matches it rather than improving on it.

The shots

Six frames showing the built elements. The delivered film also carries live action, which is not the studio's work, so it is not shown here.
